The former student, who police say came forward in December after Schroeder wished him a happy birthday on Facebook, said Schroeder would often have students over to his swimming pool. During one visit Schroeder “pinned him down” and put his penis in his face, according to court records.

Schroeder, who worked at Apple Valley Middle School from 1972 to 1993, denied having sexual contact with that specific student, but admitted to investigators that he had experiences involving oral sex with three other male students under the age of 18, according to court records filed last month.
Nobody answered the door at Schroeder’s home in Minneapolis Friday. His attorney has not yet returned a message seeking comment.
Schroeder has not been charged and the allegations may not fall within the statute of limitations, but police believe there may be other, more recent victims.
“This individual had access to students up to 1993,” said Capt. Nick Francis with the Apple Valley Police Department.
Schroeder was arrested after police searched his home last month.
