Metea Teacher Turns Himself In For Exposing Himself: Police

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville man has been arrested and charged with public indecency for an incident that occurred in a parking lot near Route 59 and 95th Street on or about Dec. 29, according to Naperville Police. Luke Pigott, 24, of the 3500 block of Stackinghay Drive, turned himself in Thursday morning after a warrant was issued by a Will County judge Wednesday.

Police included a short description of the incident through its Naper Notify system Saturday. It said the offender exposed himself to an 18-year-old woman in a parking lot Dec. 29, then drove off in a late model Ford Escape.

He is charged with public indecency/lewd exposure, a class A misdemeanor. Pigott is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.

Indian Prairie School District 204 Superintendent Karen Sullivan told the Naperville Sun in a written statement that Pigott was placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation, after police informed the district of the arrest Thursday.

Sullivan also told the Sun that after successfully completing a background check, he was hired as a science teacher three years ago at the Aurora high school.
